Better We, Better Week: Learning (Frontier) Leads the Way for Growth!

by Lori Beth Rodrigues

Great Morning Team!

What if there was a way for training and development to meet you exactly where you are, specifically in your role, your responsibilities, and your real work — and help you become 1% better every day? That’s the power that I recently discovered from Microsoft’s new agent, Learning (Frontier).

I was fortunate to be able to test this new agent and learn its incredible capabilities to help us in our own growth and development. Learning (Frontier) is made up of a series of tiles packed with tools and resources to do everything from create your own personalized learning path and plan based on your job description, roles and responsibilities, metrics & measurables, and even your growth edges and future Growth Plans! Additionally, it wants to help you learn and adopt AI tools and practices in your role and will help you build your skills in this area as well with new tips, video tutorials and assessments to test your knowledge. It coaches you and provides words of encouragement along the way, making the feel of it all, as if it knows you! (No worries, the robots aren’t taking over…they are simply partnering with us to enhance our skills! 😊)

Learning (Frontier) is thoughtful too, asking questions about HOW you would like to learn. For example, it wants to know how much time you have realistically to work on a plan each week and what are the priorities that you want to tackle first?  When you provide Learning (Frontier) this information, it will tailor a plan based on those parameters. Learning (Frontier) makes actual learning and skill building engaging and even fun by providing different modalities. While a written learning plan with actionable steps is key, there is also an opportunity to engage with LinkedIn Learning that we are considering, which provides a library of over 22,000 videos targeting what skills you want to work on, AND has an Interactive AI coach that you can engage in role play with to build skills in negotiation, influencing, and overall improved communication based on behavioral styles, and more. A subscription is required for LinkedIn videos; however, the role-playing robot is free of charge and guaranteed to provide some great humor as you learn!

In the spirit of “Trying Stuff” and Relentless Learning, take a few moments out of your day to visit your Copilot menu, and click on Learning (Frontier) that is already pinned below your Researcher and Analyst agents, and explore! 😊 We would love to know what you think about this new, powerful tool. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Wishing you all a Better We, Better Week! 😊
