Welcome Sheyna Arthur, Sourcing Consultant III, and Eileen Harris, Controller

Hi Team,

We are excited to announce that we will have 2 new hires joining our team on Wednesday, February 25, 2026!  Sheyna Arthur has joined as a Sourcing Consultant III, working from Silver Spring Maryland and Eileen Harris, as E&I’s Controller, working hybrid at the corporate office and from her home in Port Washington, NY.

Sheyna will report to Margaret Cook, Vice President, Member Account Management, and will serve as a strategic advisor and change agent for our members, delivering insight‑led consultations, guiding transformative procurement strategies, driving adoption of E&I contracts and services, and partnering cross‑functionally to deliver meaningful outcomes. She will support members in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC & Delaware.

Sheyna brings a wealth of experience in higher education procurement, strategic sourcing, and organizational transformation. Her extensive background includes enterprise procurement leadership, large‑scale supplier negotiations, procurement modernization, and stakeholder engagement across complex institutions. Sheyna has held key positions at Georgetown University, GardaWorld Federal Services, Drexel University, and at the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development. In her most recent role as Executive Director of Procurement at Georgetown University, Sheyna led enterprise‑wide procurement strategies, policies and operations for the institution, and delivered multi‑million‑dollar cost savings.

Sheyna is actively involved in community and professional service, including serving as a board member with the DC Anchor Partnership and as a board member of the Asian, Asian American & Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group. She comes from a very big and close-knit extended family that loves to eat, banter and spend time together. I am also a big Eagles and Phillies fan, and my Philadelphia accent is strongest when I talk about sandwiches!

Reporting to Chris Fehn, Senior Vice President, Finance, Eileen will be responsible for directing and managing the accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, including overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, managing the monthly close process, developing and maintaining strong internal control policies and procedures, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and coordinating the annual audit.

Eileen joins E&I with over brings a wealth of experience in corporate accounting, financial leadership, and regulatory compliance. Her extensive background in internal controls, financial reporting, audit coordination, systems implementation, and team leadership will be valuable assets to our organization. Eileen has held key positions at Great Neck Tools, Inc., Killcommons LLC, Puleo Electronics, Inc., World Brands, Inc., Citibank, and Coopers & Lybrand LLP. In her most recent role as Corporate Controller at Great Neck Tools, Inc., Eileen led financial operations, improved month‑end close efficiencies, implemented new accounting systems, and facilitated successful audits and reviews.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Eileen is actively involved in team and community engagement, including organizing long‑running corporate participation in charitable athletic events. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children and their German Shephard, Honey! She loves to run and is training for this year’s NYC Marathon!
