Hi Team,
I’m pleased to announce Stacy Brown has joined E&I as a Sourcing Consultant III, supporting our members across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Stacy will begin her role on May 11, 2026, and will work remotely from Bloomington, Illinois, reporting to Margaret Cook, Vice President, Member Account Engagement.
As a Souring Consultant, Stacy will serve as a strategic advisor and change agent for our members, leveraging data-driven insights and deep procurement expertise to help institutions optimize spend, drive adoption of E&I contracts, and advance operational efficiency, compliance, and cost control. She will partner closely with campus stakeholders, business development colleagues, and internal teams to deliver insight-led consultations and meaningful outcomes aligned with member goals.
Stacy brings over two decades of progressive experience in higher education and commercial procurement and strategic sourcing; most recently serving in senior procurement leadership roles at Illinois State University. Throughout her career, she has led complex sourcing initiatives across technology and specialized categories, advised senior leaders on compliant procurement strategies, and administered RFPs, bids, and other sourcing vehicles with a strong focus on efficiency, ethics, and value creation. Her background also includes policy development, supplier relationship management, and modernization of procurement systems to better serve institutional priorities. In recognition of her impact and leadership, Stacy was honored with the 2024 IPHEC Distinguished Service Award for her continuing support and guidance of higher education procurement teams across Illinois.
Outside of work, Stacy is a lifelong sports enthusiast and especially loves baseball and cheering on her daughter at swim meets. She is deeply connected to her community and volunteers her time each summer as a Costume Designer for the Penguin Project, a national non-profit organization with the vision of creating unrestricted access for children with special needs to the performing arts—an experience she describes as pure joy. Stacy is also an avid reader of romance and paranormal young adult novels and a big music fan, with Noah Kahan and Counting Crows as her favorites.
Please join me in welcoming Stacy to E&I and wishing her much success!
Regards,
Jeannine
