I am excited to announce that Charles (Chuck) Kotecki III has joined E&I as our new Sourcing Consultant, supporting members in New York. Chuck will begin his journey with us on September 15, 2025, working from his home office in Ledyard, CT, and reporting to Margaret Cook, Vice President, Member Account Management.
Chuck brings over 25 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management across the higher education, corporate, gaming, and hospitality sectors. Most recently, he served as Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT Category Manager for the University System of New Hampshire, where he drove savings, risk mitigation, and stakeholder education for multiple campuses. His previous roles include Director of IT Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing at LogicSource/McGraw-Hill, Category Manager at the University of Massachusetts, and Director of Corporate Procurement at Twin River Casino. Throughout his career, Chuck has consistently delivered significant budget impact savings, led complex sourcing events, and built trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. His expertise spans procurement best practices, contract negotiation, ERP systems, and project management.
As a Sourcing Consultant , Chuck will serve as a strategic advisor and change agent for E&I members, leveraging deep procurement expertise and data-driven insights to challenge conventional sourcing practices and guide institutions toward transformative procurement strategies. He will deliver insight-led consultations, lead purposeful conversations with campus stakeholders, and drive adoption of E&I contracts and services. He will also collaborate cross-functionally with business development experts, member success managers, and analytics teams to improve member outcomes and drive innovation. Additionally, he will represent E&I at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and reinforcing our position as a trusted advisor in education procurement.
Outside of work, Chuck is passionate about pickleball, playing three to five times a week, and is an avid reader, especially in the personal growth and entrepreneurial genres. He is also a proud father of two young adults, a daughter, and a son.
